Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kong Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Platinum Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le comes to the cage accompanied by Sweep the Leg. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kong Le!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Platinum Gold!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold closes this distance looking for a takedown but Le circles away.
Gold will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gold changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Le tries to avoid it but Gold manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Le to the ground. Le escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kong Le has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Platinum Gold.
Le seems to be stalking Gold here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Gold drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kong Le!
