Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enrique Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fernandes's entrance music is Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up To Boston. A fine choice. Mendez has chosen Juno Reactor - Pistolero as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes has a takedown stuffed.
Mendez looks to throw the jab but Fernandes is out of range.
Mendez dips to his left and cracks Fernandes with an uppercut!
Mendez lands a left and a right that send Fernandes crashing to the mat, dazed. Mendez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fernandes is rocked!
It looks like Andre Fernandes has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mendez fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Fernandes to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Fernandes looks to clinch but Mendez throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Fernandes taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Enrique Mendez!
