Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dave Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Viv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Viv is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Viv!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viv throws a right and a left that Williams avoids nicely.
Williams stuffs the takedown.
Viv tries to clinch up but Williams circles away and keeps his distance.
Viv pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Viv doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.

Viv throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Viv shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williams pinned against the cage. Williams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Viv feints and then cracks Williams's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Williams down.

Viv is looking to break free of the clinch but Williams has double underhooks.
Williams throws a knee to the head but misses.
Williams creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Williams gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Viv regains guard.
Williams is looking to work some ground and pound but Viv has wrist control.
Viv really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Williams is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Williams sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Viv's guard.
Viv is trying to stand up here but Williams is controlling him well.

Williams is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Williams passes to side control.

Williams is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Viv is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Viv is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Williams decides to stand back up.
Viv closes the distance but Williams moves to the side

and Williams counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Viv is looking to stand up but Williams isn't so interested in that idea.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Viv is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Williams is controlling him.
Williams postures up in Viv's guard and throws a big left but Viv blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Viv throws a sloppy head kick and Williams moves out of range easily.

Viv tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Williams has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Viv clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Williams is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Viv knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Viv is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams stands and throws Viv's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Viv wants to control but Williams postures up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Williams wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Viv, who protects the arm well.

Williams stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Viv pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Williams checks the leg kick nicely there.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dave Williams showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Williams, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
