Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Clicket Ticket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lex Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ticket comes to the cage accompanied by Pantera Walk. Lex Lewis has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Clicket Ticket's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clicket Ticket!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lex Lewis!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ticket is fending him off so far but Lewis persists. Nope, Ticket circles away and we're back to standing.
Lewis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ticket circles away.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ticket sprawls well. Ticket wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lewis gets slowly back to his feet.
Clicket Ticket has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lex Lewis.
Lewis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ticket pinned against the cage. Ticket gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lewis shoots in looking for a takedown. Ticket tries to sprawl out of it but Lewis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ticket manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ticket tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Lewis trying to control the position from guard on top but Ticket is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Lewis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ticket manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lewis has Ticket in his guard.

Ticket got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lewis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ticket has managed to get both his arms back between Lewis's legs - danger averted.

Ticket avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lewis looks gassed!
Ticket tries to free his leg and advance position but Lewis is retaining full guard.

Ticket gets to his feet - Lewis follows without any prompting.
Ticket is looking to chop away at Lewis's legs.
Lewis defending well as Ticket loads up on a big left hand.

Lewis tries to clinch there but Ticket circles away.
Ticket misses with a straight left.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ticket throws a low kick, looking for Lewis's leg but Lewis calmly moves out of range.
Lewis fails with a takedown attempt.
Lewis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Clicket Ticket is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lewis shoots for a takedown but Ticket saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ticket drops Lewis with a beautiful combination! Lewis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ticket is looking for the KO!

It looks like Lex Lewis has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ticket tries a head kick but it misses.

Lewis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lewis shoots for a takedown but Ticket saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Lewis fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lewis seems to have recovered his senses.
Ticket swinging wilding here.
Ticket throws a sloppy head kick and Lewis moves out of range easily.
Ticket misses with a wild combination.
Ticket slaps away a takedown attempt from Lewis, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lewis takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lewis drops his hands momentarily and Ticket takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lewis shoots in and drives through. Ticket sprawls well.
Lex Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ticket misses with a wild combination.
Lewis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

A slow jab from Ticket misses its intended target.
Ticket misses with a low kick as Lewis jumps back.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lewis is defended easily by Ticket.
Ticket throws and low kick but Lewis moves out of range easily.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ticket sprawls well. Ticket wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lewis gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Ticket swinging wilding here.

Lewis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Ticket pulls Lewis in to control the position.
Lewis trying to control but Ticket is working from the bottom.
Lewis is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Ticket wriggles free and stands up.

Lewis closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ticket did well to prevent Lewis getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lewis is just content to waste time from the top position. Ticket takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Ticket lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lewis!

Lewis is wriggling around trying to escape.
Lewis is breathing heavily.
Ticket controlling from the full mount.
Lewis is trying to escape the mount.
Ticket controlling the pace for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lewis in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Ticket prevents Lewis from getting the reversal.
Ticket controlling the position easily from mount.
Lewis wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Lewis tries to escape but Ticket has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Ticket trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Lewis doesn't escape.
I really don't envy Lewis right now.
Lewis is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Lewis looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Ticket trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Lewis doesn't escape.
Lewis tries to roll but Ticket sticks to his back.
Lewis is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Ticket slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Clicket Ticket just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Lewis.
Lewis shoots in but Ticket avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Clicket Ticket has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lex Lewis.
Ticket throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lewis.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ticket scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Lewis fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ticket lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lewis at a distance.
Lewis has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ticket finds it's way round the side to connect with Lewis's head.
A right-left combo lands from Ticket.
Ticket tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ticket lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
No luck for Lewis with that takedown attempt.
Lewis avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ticket throws a head kick but Lewis moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clicket Ticket dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Lex Lewis's cut.
That's time! Ticket's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Lewis shoots in for a takedown but Ticket shows good takedown defense.
Lewis takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lewis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ticket's waist but Ticket gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lewis off to one side.
Lewis shoots in and drives through. Ticket sprawls well.

Ticket throws a right hand that Lewis ducks under and follows up with a left that Lewis also avoids with ease.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lewis.
Ticket misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ticket misses with a double jab.
Lewis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ticket tries to avoid it but Lewis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ticket to the ground. Ticket escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lewis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ticket sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ticket throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Lewis avoids the head kick by Ticket.

Ticket takes a swing at Lewis's ribcage but misses.

Lewis trying to control but Ticket is having none of it.
Ticket is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Ticket stops Lewis from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Lewis moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ticket has worked his arm free - good work by Ticket!

Ticket is not content to let Lewis control the position.
Ticket regains half guard there - taking advantage of Lewis's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Ticket kicks Lewis off and gets back to his feet.
Ticket throws a right hand that Lewis ducks under and follows up with a left that Lewis also avoids with ease.
Lewis shoots in for a double leg but Ticket sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ticket fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ticket lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lewis circles away quickly and effectively.
Donk. Ticket catches Lewis right on the button with a cross.
Lewis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ticket sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lewis somewhat.
Ticket misses with a body kick.
Lewis has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown but Ticket shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ticket!

Nice takedown defense from Ticket. No joy for Lewis on that attempt.
Ticket scores with a one two! Lewis had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Clicket Ticket is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Lewis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ticket!

Lewis jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ticket is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ticket and Lewis has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Lex Lewis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Lewis goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ticket rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lewis's guard! Nice work there by Ticket!
Ticket is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Ticket slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Lewis has his foot on Ticket's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ticket works his way back into a safe position though.

And that's the end of the fight!
Clicket Ticket showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Ticket has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
