The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
gonzales gets a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Acton throws an elbow but misses.
gonzales takes an elbow to the temple.
gonzales blocks an elbow strike.
Acton pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
gonzales lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
gonzales is trying to force a seperation but Acton has the dominant position.
gonzales tries to break free but Acton pushes him back against the cage.
gonzales wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
gonzales escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
gonzales fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Acton, pushing him back against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
gonzales connects with a knee to the head.
Acton lands a hook that snaps the head of gonzales backwards.
gonzales breaks from the clinch.
gonzales bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Acton's head backwards.
gonzales moves in looking to clinch but Acton pushes him off.
gonzales bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Acton wants to get back to his feet but gonzales is dominant here and he's now got Acton's back!
gonzales lands strikes to the head.
Acton is trying to get back to his feet but gonzales has full control of the position and if anything, Acton has just worked his way into a worse spot.
gonzales is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Acton with him. Acton is trying to defend but gonzales has an arm under the chin now! Acton grimaces and is forced to tap out!
