The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tornado fails with an attempt to clinch.
West Side fails with a takedown attempt.
West Side looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tornado tries a head kick but it misses.
Tornado avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
West Side shoots in for a double leg but Tornado sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and West Side counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tornado!
West Side jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tornado is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tornado and West Side has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
West Side looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Tornado is avoiding damage well.
