Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paramendr Chakra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Tibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Paramendr Chakra has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Paramendr Chakra seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paramendr Chakra!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andre Tibbs!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chakra wants to clinch.
Chakra slips a jab and a cross from Tibbs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Chakra.
Andre Tibbs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Chakra misses with a knee strike.
Chakra lands a knee to the body.
Chakra lands an elbow just above Tibbs 's eye.
It looks like Andre Tibbs has been cut.
Chakra has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tibbs is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Stalling in the clinch from Tibbs.
Chakra is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Chakra's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Chakra breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Horrible takedown by Chakra or perhaps it was just good defense by Tibbs which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paramendr Chakra. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tibbs scores with a hook.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chakra looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tibbs forces Chakra back against the cage and clinches.
Tibbs prevents the takedown attempt.
Tibbs swings wildly with an uppercut but Chakra uses good head movement to avoid it.
Chakra crunches a lovely knee into Tibbs's ribcage.
Chakra gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Tibbs regains guard.

Chakra is breathing heavily.
Tibbs looking to control.
Chakra throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tibbs works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Tibbs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chakra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chakra throws a big right hand that misses.
Chakra postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chakra wants to control from the top but Tibbs keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tibbs is on top in guard.
Tibbs thows a big elbow that misses.
Chakra escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tibbs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Chakra looking for a triangle here. Tibbs is fighting it but it looks tight! Chakra pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Tibbs is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Paramendr Chakra!
