Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leland Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyota Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chapman's entrance music is Dog the Bounty Hunter (Theme Song). A fine choice. Machida has chosen U can't TOUCH this as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leland Chapman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lyota Machida! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chapman throws a head kick but Machida moves out of range.
Machida moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Chapman works the jab nicely. Machida avoids the head kick by Chapman.
Chapman takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Leland Chapman has been cut. Machida throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Machida leaves Chapman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Chapman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Machida sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chapman somewhat. Chapman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Machida paws at him with a jab and circles away. Chapman looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Machida! Machida's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Machida can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machida working to try and regain half guard.
Machida gets back to half guard. Chapman is working for a kimura but Machida is defending it quite comfortably.
Chapman keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Machida wants to control but Chapman is keeping busy and won't allow it. Chapman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chapman in particular looking to stall. Machida tries to roll over but Chapman keeps him under control. Chapman throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Machida tries to kick Chapman off but Chapman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Machida really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chapman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chapman is looking to take a break and control but Machida is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chapman is really struggling to control Machida but he's trying to hold on to the position. Chapman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Chapman is working for a kimura but Machida is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Machida avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chapman. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Machida throws a right and a left that both miss. A jab from Machida does it's job there. Machida staying out of range there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chapman takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Chapman throws a combination that misses and Machida counters with a nice body shot. Chapman shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leland Chapman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chapman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Machida. Chapman looks to score with a jab to the body but Machida is just out of range. Lyota Machida is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Chapman slips a jab and a cross from Machida.
Machida lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Machida lands a lovely overhand right. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Machida connects with the punch. Chapman drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. A nice combination there by Machida.
Chapman is breathing heavily. Chapman throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Machida staying out of range there. A slapping leg kick lands for Chapman.
Chapman throws a left and a right that both miss
and Machida counters with a straight punch to the midsection. A right-left combo lands from Machida.
Leland Chapman's cut is getting worse. Chapman walks into a jab. Chapman is looking to clinch. Machida digs a good hook to Chapman's body.
Machida lands a glancing blow to the side of Chapman's head.
Leland Chapman's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Nice shot by Machida. Chapman avoids a kick to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Machida takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Machida scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Machida lands with an overhand left. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyota Machida dominated that round. The cut man is working on Leland Chapman's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Machida throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chapman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Chapman throws a shot from downtown. Machida moves away and avoids it. Machida slips under a jab from Chapman. Chapman misses with a jab to the body
and Machida counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Chapman takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Chapman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Machida defends it nicely. Machida scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Jeez, Leland Chapman's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Machida thows a left - swing and a miss! Machida fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Chapman on the side of the head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Leland Chapman's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Lyota Machida!
