Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Danes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nakitu Mizajasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mizajasi has chosen target=blank>wild boys as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luke Danes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nakitu Mizajasi! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danes stuffs the takedown. Danes shoots in looking for a takedown. Mizajasi tries to sprawl out of it but Danes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mizajasi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mizajasi misses with a takedown attempt and Danes counters with a shoot takedown. Mizajasi fights it but they end up in guard. Mizajasi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Danes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Danes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mizajasi wants to hit a switch here but Danes passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Mizajasi there! Danes controlling the position easily from mount. Mizajasi keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danes controlling from the full mount. Mizajasi really wants to buck Danes off and get back to his feet. Danes controlling from mount. Danes's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Luke Danes just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Mizajasi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Danes. Danes doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mizajasi counters with an inside leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luke Danes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mizajasi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Danes counters with a takedown into side control. Mizajasi looks gassed! Mizajasi manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Danes desperately trying to maintain half guard. Danes works his way to full guard. Good work. Danes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mizajasi's guard. Danes controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Danes stands and throws Mizajasi's legs to the side, diving into side control. Mizajasi seems a little lost for a moment, as Danes dominates the positioning. Danes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Danes has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Danes throws an elbow but Mizajasi slips to the side and avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danes with a poor takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Mizajasi has his takedown stuffed and Danes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mizajasi's guard. Danes is stalling in the full guard. Danes passes into half guard. Danes moves into full mount! Mizajasi won't be happy about that! Danes in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Mizajasi is breathing heavily. Danes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Luke Danes just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Danes shoots for a double leg takedown but Mizajasi sprawls well. He's pushed Danes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Horrible takedown by Danes or perhaps it was just good defense by Mizajasi which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luke Danes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Danes with a lazy takedown attempt and Mizajasi counters with a thumping low kick. Mizajasi misses with a takedown and Danes counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mizajasi! Danes working the ground and pound effectively.

He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Danes works a leg free and moves into half guard. Danes controlling the action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mizajasi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Mizajasi is looking to reverse the position. Mizajasi is trying to escape the position but Danes is controlling the position. Mizajasi tries to get back to half guard but can't. Danes controlling the position from side mount. Mizajasi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Danes works his way into side control. Mizajasi seems a little lost for a moment, as Danes dominates the positioning. Danes looks up at the clock and then as Mizajasi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Danes smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Mizajasi is trying to control Danes's posture but Danes avoids it. Danes working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Danes is staying tight to Mizajasi's torso, preventing him from escaping. Danes decides to take the fight back to the feet. Danes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mizajasi is fending him off so far but Danes persists. Nope, Mizajasi circles away and we're back to standing. Danes dives in and grabs Mizajasi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mizajasi pushes down on Danes's head and hops out. Danes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mizajasi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Danes somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luke Danes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Mizajasi. No joy for Danes on that attempt.

Danes shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mizajasi defends it nicely. Danes looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Luke Danes showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Danes, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
