Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremih Budden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Miller's choice of entrance music: Lose Yourself. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Budden sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miller somewhat. Budden has Miller up against the cage in a clinch.
Budden tries to pull guard but Miller won't allow it.
Miller lands a knee to the body.
Budden tries to stall but Miller uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Budden tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Miller's elbow. Budden keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Miller's efforts to push away. Miller jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Budden walks away with a smile on his face. Miller gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Miller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Budden manages to get to full guard.
Miller is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Miller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Budden works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Budden swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Budden pushes Miller up against the cage in a clinch. Miller is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Jeremih Budden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Miller. Budden wants to get back to striking at distance but Miller won't allow it.

Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard. Miller controls Budden momentarily but Budden frees himself. Budden is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Budden stands up from guard. Let's bang! Budden circles away from the clinch attempt and Budden counters with a nice double leg into side control. Miller won't be happy with that. Budden controls the position. Budden working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Miller tries to buck Budden off but Budden is having none of it. Miller looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Budden controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Budden cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Budden lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Budden cracks Miller with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Budden looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeremih Budden dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Budden gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Miller counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Miller wants to pass the guard but Budden is keeping the position. Budden working a defensive guard here.
Miller stops Budden from standing up. Miller trying to control but Budden is working from the bottom. Budden controlling Miller's posture. Miller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Budden wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment. Miller is breathing heavily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Miller doesn't succeed with the takedown and Budden counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Budden drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Miller trying to remain calm as Budden controls from the top position. Budden is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Miller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Budden is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Miller looks calm but he's in trouble here. Budden gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Miller is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Budden lets go of the hold and Miller can pop his arm back in it's socket.
