The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alessio looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Ruthless keeping full guard, as Alessio tries to pass.
Alessio is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ruthless is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ruthless has escaped and now he's on top!

Ruthless stopping the sweep attempt from Alessio.
Alessio is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ruthless tries to stand but Alessio is controlling from the bottom.
Ruthless being controlled here momentarily.
Alessio manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ruthless manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Alessio sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ruthless's guard.

Alessio in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Ruthless tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Alessio!
