Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Helmet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homer Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Helmet comes to the cage accompanied by Boom. The key to victory for Fred Helmet has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Helmet tries to keep at a distance but Simpson has taken the fight into the clinch. Helmet looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Simpson pulls guard. Simpson wants to stand and escape but Helmet is having none of it. Simpson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Simpson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Helmet is one step ahead there. Simpson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Helmet. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Simpson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Helmet! Simpson looking to control and managing it successfully. Simpson is looking to stand but Simpson has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Simpson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Helmet can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Simpson stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Helmet is looking to clinch. Helmet misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Helmet lands a front kick. Helmet throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Helmet wants to clinch so Simpson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Simpson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Simpson prevents Helmet from getting back to his feet. Simpson tries to free his leg and advance position but Helmet is retaining full guard. Simpson won't allow Helmet to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Simpson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Helmet swivels though and keeps the full guard. Simpson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Simpson shoots in but Helmet avoids the takedown attempt easily. Helmet closes the distance but Simpson moves to the side and Simpson counters with a shoot takedown. Helmet fights it but they end up in guard. Helmet is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Simpson is controlling him. Simpson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Helmet uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Helmet closes the distance looking to clinch and Simpson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Helmet wants to get back to his feet.

Despite being in the dominant position, Homer Simpson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Helmet on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fred Helmet's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Helmet stuffs the takedown attempt from Simpson. Simpson gets slowly back to his feet. Simpson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fred Helmet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Homer Simpson. Helmet wants to clinch. Helmet fails with an attempt to clinch.
Simpson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Simpson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Simpson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Simpson prevents Helmet from escaping the position. Homer Simpson has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Simpson happy to just control the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Homer Simpson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Fred Helmet's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Helmet won't be happy with that. Simpson decides to stand back up. Simpson steps back and let's Helmet get back to his feet. Simpson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Simpson content just to control the position here.

Let's hope that Simpson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Simpson is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Fred Helmet is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Helmet darts in trying to clinch and Simpson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Helmet's guard now. Simpson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Helmet looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Simpson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Helmet counters with a series of strikes. Simpson will be more careful next time no doubt. Fred Helmet has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Simpson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Helmet pinned against the cage. Helmet gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Helmet fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that's the end of the fight! Homer Simpson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Simpson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
