Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ash Stoner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aussie Victory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stoner comes to the cage accompanied by Why Can't We Be Friends?. Aussie Victory will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ash Stoner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aussie Victory!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Victory just misses with a punch to the body.
Stoner throws a big shot that misses.
Aussie Victory seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Stoner throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Stoner slips a jab from Victory.
Stoner swings for the body but Victory moves out of range.
Stoner misses with a body shot.
Stoner moves forwards but Victory connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Victory slips under a jab from Stoner.
Stoner misses with a low kick.
Stoner staying out of range there.
Victory cracks Stoner with an open hand slap.
A left and a right from Stoner both land. Nice combination.


It looks like Aussie Victory has been cut.
Stoner fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stoner takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Victory throws a hook but Stoner avoids it easily.
Victory missing with a left hand there. Stoner was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Stoner moves into the clinch.
Victory looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Victory takes a shot to the head.
Victory tries to pull guard but Stoner holds him up against the cage and eventually Victory drops back down to his feet.
Stoner lands an elbow that stopped Victory in his tracks for a moment.
Victory tries to break the clinch but Stoner is controlling the position.
Stoner gets through Victory's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Stoner creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Victory's defenses.


Victory is rocked!

Victory breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stoner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stoner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stoner takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Stoner missing with a left hand there. Victory was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Victory misses with a looping right.
Stoner slips under a jab from Victory.

Stoner avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Victory throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stoner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


That has opened up Aussie Victory's cut even more.

A swing and a miss from Victory.
Stoner throws the left hand but Victory avoids the punch easily.
Victory throws a hook but Stoner blocks it.
Victory throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Victory throws a hook to the side of Stoner's head but Stoner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Victory throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Victory fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Victory looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Stoner waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Victory.
Stoner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Victory.
Victory throws an overhand right that lands on Stoner's shoulder, as Stoner tries to avoid the shot.
Victory throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Victory throws a jab when Stoner was well out of range.
Victory swings for the body but Stoner moves out of range.
Victory throws a jab but it's blocked by Stoner.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stoner displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Victory scores with a jab to the head.

Stoner takes the fight into the clinch.
Victory has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Stoner avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Victory tries for a takedown. No joy.
Ash Stoner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aussie Victory.
Stoner lands with a short shot to the head.
Stoner creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Victory's defenses.

The cut above Aussie Victory's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Victory is looking to break free of the clinch but Stoner has double underhooks.
Stoner lands a hook to the side of the head.
Victory is trying to break the clinch but Stoner is controlling him.

Victory is still on wobbly legs! Can Stoner finish him?
Victory looks gassed!

Victory seems to have recovered his senses.

Stoner drops Victory onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Victory is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Aussie Victory's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
