Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Tep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tep might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to You're the Best Around. Jason Slade is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bubba Tep!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Slade!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slade throws a series of strikes that have Tep backpedaling.
Tep moves away from the strike by Slade.
A punch lands to the side of Tep 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A decent looking cross lands there for Slade.
Tep lands with a straight right. Slade didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Jason Slade has been cut.
Tep feints and as Slade raises his hands in defense, Tep changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tep has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Slade is proving hard to escape from.
Tep sitting in guard here, content to control.
Slade isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tep stacks Slade on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tep!
Tep scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Slade to see if he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slade is looking to reverse the position.
Tep working the body and head with strikes.
Slade prevents Tep from improving position.
Slade is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Tep grinds an elbow into Slade's temple.
Slade is rocked!
That has opened up Jason Slade's cut even more.
Slade tries to bench press Tep off him but Tep keeps the position.
Slade is still in real trouble! Can Tep finish him?
Tep working the head and body with strikes.
Tep cracks Slade with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Tep immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Slade is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Tep!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bubba Tep!
