Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Nylan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Banner Cobalt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nylan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to retina (despised icon). Chris Nylan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Nylan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Banner Cobalt! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nylan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. The fighters circle momentarily. Nylan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Nylan lands a nice hook to Cobalt's body. Cobalt takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Cobalt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nylan sprawls well initially but Cobalt persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Cobalt trying to control from half guard but Nylan is working away. Cobalt is nestled in close to Nylan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Nylan trying to hold on to Cobalt's head to control him but Cobalt postures up.
Cobalt is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Cobalt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nylan sees it coming and defends easily. Cobalt uses his free foot to push down on Nylan's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nylan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobalt raining down shots from the mount! Cobalt looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Cobalt with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Nylan tries to get back to half guard but can't. A nice elbow there by Cobalt. Cobalt is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nylan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Cobalt looking to ground and pound but Nylan is blocking nicely. Cobalt jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Nylan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Nylan and Cobalt has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Cobalt lands a decent elbow from side control. Nylan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cobalt on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cobalt throws a strike aimed at the side of Nylan's head but Nylan avoids it well. Cobalt in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Nylan is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Banner Cobalt!
