Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between William Butler Yates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksey Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yates comes into the arena with blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yates shoots in looking for a takedown. Ivanov tries to sprawl out of it but Yates keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ivanov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Yates shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ivanov holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Ivanov actively working from the bottom here.
Ivanov is not content to let Yates control the position.
Ivanov is trying to get back to full guard.

and Ivanov counters with a single leg into guard. Yates didn't expect that.

Yates can't keep his opponent in guard - Ivanov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ivanov wants to take a breather but Yates is having none of it.

Ivanov is looking to advance position but Yates won't allow it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ivanov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Yates shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ivanov is trying to defend but Yates finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Yates is just content to waste time from the top position. Ivanov takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Yates looking to sit in guard and control but Ivanov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Well Ivanov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
