Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jiro Kikaida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Bola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bola has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Junior Bola will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kikaida closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bola did well to prevent Kikaida getting side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kikaida creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Bola gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Kikaida fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The cut above Junior Bola's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Bola is bucking up trying to escape but Kikaida cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Junior Bola's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Junior Bola's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jiro Kikaida!
