Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tusse Batman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nichiren Daishonin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batman comes to the cage accompanied by Battery - Metallica. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nichiren Daishonin!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Batman gets caught flat footed, as Daishonin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Batman trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Daishonin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Batman looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Batman looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Batman!

Batman decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Daishonin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Batman as he avoids it easily.

Daishonin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Batman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Batman is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Daishonin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Daishonin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Daishonin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Batman defend it? Daishonin steps over the head and cranks it - Batman is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Daishonin!
