Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Beastly Fellow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johnny Savage!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fellow tries for a takedown but Savage sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Beastly Fellow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fellow fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fellow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Savage sprawls well. Savage wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fellow gets slowly back to his feet.

Fellow had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Savage is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fellow Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Savage's back instead.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Savage can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fellow sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Fellow is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Savage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fellow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well Savage has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
