Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LeRon Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock comes into the arena with I Walk Alone - Saliva blaring out of the sound system. Jenkins is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Go Hard or Go Home. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shamrock fails with a takedown attempt.
Jenkins shoots in for a takedown but Shamrock shows good takedown defense.
Shamrock dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jenkins. That did some damage!
No joy there for Shamrock, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Shamrock changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jenkins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jenkins tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Shamrock wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shamrock is looking to take a break and control but Jenkins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jenkins looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shamrock is fending him off so far but Jenkins persists. Nope, Shamrock circles away and we're back to standing.
Jenkins slips a jab and a cross from Shamrock.
Shamrock connects with a high kick.
Shamrock fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jenkins.
Jenkins takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Shamrock clinches up with Jenkins and pushes him back against the cage.
Shamrock tries for a takedown but Jenkins manages to get underhooks.
Jenkins has Shamrock pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Shamrock manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Dan Shamrock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of LeRon Jenkins.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jenkins is looking to clinch but Shamrock is avoiding it.
Jenkins misses with a takedown attempt - Shamrock sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jenkins closes the distance and clinches up with Shamrock, looking for a takedown. Jenkins pushes Shamrock against the cage but Shamrock circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jenkins tries to bum rush Shamrock with a series of wild strikes but Shamrock uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Jenkins lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jenkins lands with a nice combination. Shamrock backs away looking to recover.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jenkins throws a left that rocks Shamrock and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jenkins dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Shamrock regain composure!

It looks like Dan Shamrock has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Jenkins stands up.
Oh Shamrock is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shamrock misses with a takedown
and Jenkins counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
