The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nabijos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Decent striking displayed by Nabijos there.
Nabijos listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Nabijos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nabijos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nabijos throws an overhand right that lands on Vega's shoulder, as Vega tries to avoid the shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vega.
Nice takedown defense from Nabijos. No joy for Vega on that attempt.
Ahmad Nabijos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcelo Vega.
Nabijos lands a right hook to the body.

Nabijos misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nabijos stalks Vega and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vega's face. Vega staggers backwards, shaken.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vega shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nabijos defends it nicely.

Nabijos throws a lazy right hand but Vega sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Vega looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Nabijos.

Nabijos lands the left hand.
Nabijos connects with a nice cross there... Vega is looking wobbly and Nabijos recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Vega to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Nabijos jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
