Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohamed Atta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohamed Atta told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atta is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Daniels lands a nice looking body shot.
Daniels throws a head kick that misses.
Atta closes this distance looking for a takedown but Daniels circles away.
Daniels throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Atta.
Atta tries to clinch but Daniels is having none of it.
Daniels tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Atta shoots in for a takedown but Daniels shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Daniel Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Atta needs to keep his hands up - Daniels had a free shot at his head there.
Daniels scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Atta walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Atta shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Daniels as he avoids it easily.

Daniel Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mohamed Atta.
Daniels darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Atta's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Daniels before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
