Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gable comes to the cage accompanied by Rick Derringer - I am a Real American. Sanchez has chosen WALK BY PANTERA as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gable comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sanchez walks into a straight right hand from Gable.
Sanchez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gable.
Gable tries to bum rush Sanchez with a series of wild strikes but Sanchez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sanchez throws a jab but it's blocked by Gable.

Gable shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gable showed some decent athleticism there.
Sanchez tries to get to full guard but Gable has control of the leg.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gable accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Sanchez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gable doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gable manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Gable connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sanchez momentarily.

Gable is sitting in close to Sanchez's body. Sanchez has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Gable is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Gable is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Sanchez.
