Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jammo Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kristoffer Osterberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gibson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Osterberg to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Osterberg avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gibson controls Osterberg momentarily but Osterberg frees himself.
Osterberg wants to stand but Gibson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Osterberg might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gibson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Gibson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Osterberg.
Osterberg tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gibson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Osterberg somewhat.

Osterberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gibson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

You can see the frustration on Gibson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Osterberg is on top in guard.
Gibson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gibson stops Osterberg from getting back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jammo Gibson will probably get the nod.
That's time! Gibson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Gibson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Osterberg paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Osterberg takes a swing at Gibson's ribcage but misses.
Jammo Gibson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Osterberg keeps the fight on the outside.
Gibson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Osterberg stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Gibson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Osterberg has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gibson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Osterberg is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Gibson wants to clinch up but Osterberg keeps it at a distance.

Gibson gets to mount! Osterberg was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Osterberg tries to improve his position but instead Gibson has taken his back!
Gibson is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Gibson is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Gibson gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Gibson gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Gibson apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Osterberg scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Gibson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Osterberg has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gibson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Osterberg is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gibson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Jammo Gibson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kristoffer Osterberg.
