Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between THE HULK (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for THE HULK has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, THE HULK!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Tank!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from HULK.

HULK looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Tank wants to improve his position but HULK is controlling well.
Tank blocking the ground and pound attempt from HULK.
HULK is thwarting Tank's attempts to control the position.
HULK wants to control but Tank is keeping him busy.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. HULK connects with a nice short shot to Tank's temple.
Tank wants to get back to full guard.

HULK is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tank is just riding it out for now. HULK eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Tank taking some punishment here, with HULK in his half guard.

Tank makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tank.
HULK postures up.
HULK cracks Tank with a solid left hand.
HULK has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Tank utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Tank is adopting a defensive guard.
HULK connects with a couple of short punches.

HULK wants to control from the top but Tank keeps moving.
Tank manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. HULK manages to get himself to full guard.

Tank gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Tank shoots and misses

and HULK counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tank!

HULK is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Tank has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Tank!
HULK is breathing heavily.
Tank wants to get up but he can't break HULK's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Tank decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on HULK, up you get!

HULK with a lazy takedown attempt

and Tank counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
HULK might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Tank decides to return to a standing position.
Tank shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and HULK counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Tank is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but HULK pulls his head out easily.
Tank is trying to defend against the ground and pound but HULK scores with a couple of nice shots.
Tank avoiding damage under a succession of punches from HULK.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tank can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tank gets full guard.

HULK throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
HULK missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Tank working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from HULK.
HULK thows a big elbow that misses.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
HULK shoots and misses

so Tank counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for THE HULK. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tank gets to his feet - HULK follows without any prompting.

HULK looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
HULK seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tank makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tank.
Tank wants to sweep here but HULK controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Frank Tank will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


HULK lands with a straight right. Tank didn't see that one coming.

and Tank counters with a takedown into side control.
Frank Tank has got the better of the ground game so far.
HULK regains half guard.

Tank stands up and beckons HULK to join him on the feet.
Tank shoots and misses

and HULK counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tank!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
HULK looking to control and managing it successfully.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
HULK thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

HULK wants to control but instead Tank manages to regain half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Tank works his way to full guard. Good work.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Tank keeping moving, preventing HULK from controlling successfully.
Tank avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Tank looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
HULK trying to control the position from guard on top but Tank is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Tank is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! HULK rolls with it to try and escape but Tank cranks on the arm and HULK is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
