Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andres Jaller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Berticus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berticus Maximus will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jaller looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Maximus lands a decent elbow from side control.

Maximus creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jaller sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maximus remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Maximus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jaller sprawls well. Jaller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Maximus gets slowly back to his feet.
