Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Vand de Housen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Hermiston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vand de Housen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, LIL WAYNE- DROP THE WORLD. Hermiston has chosen Rusty Cage as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hermiston scores with a jab to the body.
Hermiston tries for a takedown but Vand de Housen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hermiston looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hermiston throws a head kick that misses.
Hermiston tries to close the distance and clinch but Vand de Housen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hermiston throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hermiston steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Vand de Housen. That one must have hurt.
Vand de Housen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Vand de Housen.
Hermiston closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vand de Housen circles away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Patrick Vand de Housen will probably get the nod.
