Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Matthew Tehana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Philli Rex!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tehana misses the shot to the body.
Philli Rex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tehana tries to clinch but Rex is having none of it.
Rex fails to land the takedown.
Rex looks to clinch
and Tehana counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Tehana working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Rex tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tehana trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Tehana passes Rex's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Rex tries to roll over but Tehana keeps him under control.
Rex wants to control but Tehana is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Tehana prevents Rex from improving his position.
Rex gets back to full guard.
Rex is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tehana stands and throws Rex's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Tehana is working to tighten is grip on Rex's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rex has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Tehana is really squeezing tight and eventually Rex passes out! Tehana breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
