The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mosley shoots in and bounces Smith off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Smith is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mosley is controlling him.
Mosley loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Mosley postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Smith wants to get back to his feet but Mosley is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Mosley drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mosley jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mosley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Smith tries to bum rush Mosley with a series of wild strikes but Mosley uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mosley.
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mosley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mosley off to one side.
Smith defending well as Mosley loads up on a big left hand.
Mosley dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Mosley takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mosley shoots for a takedown but Smith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A bone on bone clash there as Mosley blocks the leg kick.
Smith wants to land a leg kick but Mosley is out of range.
Mosley waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Smith.
Mosley looks for a takedown but Smith sprawls well.

Mosley clinches up against the cage.

Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Smith connects with a stiff jab that staggers Mosley - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
