Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Gregorivich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Lenny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gregorivich comes to the ring accompanied by The Pot. Lenny has chosen Convoy as his entrance music. Mick Lenny will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregorivich wants to clinch.

Lenny rushes Gregorivich and presses him up against the ropes.
Lenny wants to break the clinch but can't.
Gregorivich is trying to maintain a safe position but Lenny gets an underhook and turns Gregorivich into the ropes.
Gregorivich drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lenny blocks a body shot from Gregorivich.
Lenny has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Lenny takes a knee to the side of the body.
Lenny is trying to force a seperation but Gregorivich has the dominant position.
Lenny lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gregorivich backwards.

Gregorivich breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lenny moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Victor Gregorivich has been cut.
Gregorivich wants to clinch but Lenny slips to the side
and Lenny counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Lenny throws a right and a left that both miss.

Gregorivich feints and as Lenny raises his hands in defense, Gregorivich changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gregorivich is pushing down on Lenny's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lenny is fighting to maintain full guard but Gregorivich has managed to sneak the leg through.

Lenny stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lenny can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lenny throws out a loose jab but Gregorivich uses good head movement to avoid it.

Oh Gregorivich is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lenny throws a series of punches but Gregorivich avoids them all with ease.

and Lenny makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gregorivich shoots in looking for a takedown. Lenny tries to sprawl out of it but Gregorivich keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Lenny manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lenny blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Lenny tries to stall but Gregorivich uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Horrible takedown by Gregorivich or perhaps it was just good defense by Lenny which made him look bad.

Gregorivich looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
