Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Chin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chin has chosen Walk Wid Dem Casket - Mavado & Flexx as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcelo Garcia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Willy Chin! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Garcia's waist but Garcia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chin off to one side. Chin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Garcia avoids it really well and circles away. No luck for Chin with that takedown attempt. Marcelo Garcia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Willy Chin. Chin fails with a takedown attempt. Chin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Chin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Garcia manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Chin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Garcia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Still in half guard, Garcia seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garcia looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Garcia is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chin is just riding it out for now. Garcia eventually gives up the hold. Chin wants to improve his position but Garcia is controlling well.
Chin looks gassed! Garcia looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Garcia is working for a submission of some sort.
Garcia lands strikes from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Garcia seems to be working for a kimura but Chin defends the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Garcia is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Chin sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Chin wants to control but Garcia is keeping busy and won't allow it. Garcia lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chin is defending against the submission attempts here by Garcia.
Garcia passes to full mount! Garcia prevents Chin from getting the reversal. Garcia is going olschool here, as he tries to force Chin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Chin shrugs it off. Chin working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chin is squirming around, avoiding Garcia's attempts to control the action. Garcia is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Chin is in real trouble.
Garcia lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Chin.
Will Garcia go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcelo Garcia dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Chin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Garcia leaves Chin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Garcia clinches up against the cage. Garcia decides to pull guard. Garcia wants to get back to his feet but Chin is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Chinis looking to pass into half guard but Garcia pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Garcia is in guard. Chin can't keep his opponent in guard - Garcia advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Garcia working the head and body with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chin taking some punishment here, with Garcia in his half guard. Chin is breathing heavily. Garcia is looking to advance position but Chin won't allow it. Garcia is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Chin! Garcia in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Garcia is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Chin can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Chin tries to reverse the position but Garcia maintains control. Garcia is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Garcia extends the arm and Chin is forced to tap!
