Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
peterson wants to clinch.
peterson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but jobber paws at him with a jab and circles away.
jobber tries to clinch there but peterson circles away.
jobber avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and jobber counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by jobber.
A quick uppercut on the inside from jobber.
jobber is trying to force a seperation but peterson has the dominant position.
jobber lands an elbow inside.

peterson wants to control from the top but jobber keeps moving.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

jobber is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

jobber escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. peterson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
jobber seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
jobber manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
jobber is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. peterson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
peterson wants to get back to his feet.
jobber postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. peterson looks a forlorn figure.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, jobber cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
peterson wants to hold on but jobber pushes him away.

jobber gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
jobber tries for a takedown but peterson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
peterson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by jobber.

jobber ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. jobber no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

peterson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. jobber looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The strikes coming from peterson are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

peterson shoots for a takedown but jobber saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

I really don't envy peterson right now.

Well jobber has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
