Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Bastard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jeff quaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jeff quaker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
quaker fails to land the takedown.
Bastard moves into the clinch.

quaker closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bastard circles away.
quaker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bastard defends it nicely.
Big Bastard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of jeff quaker.
quaker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bastard's waist but Bastard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing quaker off to one side.

Bastard leaves quaker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bastard shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in quaker's guard.
Bastard drops back, looking for a kneebar! quaker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. quaker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from quaker!

Bastard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bastard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

quaker manages to reverse the position and now he's in Bastard's guard. Nice work there by quaker.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bastard feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Bastard counters with a low kick, right behind quaker 's knee.

Bastard bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bastard lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear quaker down.

Bastard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? quaker is fending him off so far but Bastard persists. Nope, quaker circles away and we're back to standing.

Bastard jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as quaker walks away with a smile on his face. Bastard gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

quaker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bastard sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten quaker somewhat.

Bastard looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks quaker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well Bastard has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
