Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lumpiot Hajalle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Macon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rock You Like a Hurricane. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Drake Macon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lumpiot Hajalle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Drake Macon! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hajalle shoots in and drives through. Macon sprawls well. Hajalle gets caught flat footed, as Macon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hajalle wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Macon tries to free his leg and advance position but Hajalle is retaining full guard. Hajalle controls Macon momentarily but Macon frees himself. Macon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hajalle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Macon has managed to get both his arms back between Hajalle's legs - danger averted. Hajalle managing to control the position. Hajalle wants to sweep here but Macon controlling him for the moment. Hajalle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Macon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Macon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Macon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hajalle is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Macon looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hajalle working for a triangle but Macon defends it easily.
Hajalle has his foot on Macon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Macon works his way back into a safe position though. Macon trying to control but Hajalle is working from the bottom. Hajalle controls Macon momentarily but Macon frees himself. Macon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hajalle is keeping the position for now. Macon postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Macon wants to control from the top but Hajalle keeps moving. Hajalle has an active guard here but Macon has managed to pass into half guard.
Hajalle is breathing heavily. Macon is keen to just control but Hajalle is a slippery customer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Macon tries for a takedown but Hajalle circles away easily and Hajalle counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Macon's guard now. Macon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hajalle is one step ahead there. Hajalle trying to control but Macon is working from the bottom. Macon working a defensive guard here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Hajalle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Macon works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hajalle postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Macon is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hajalle, into his guard. Hajalle trying to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hajalle has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Macon is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hajalle. Hajalle struggling a bit here. Hajalle is trying to get back to half guard. Macon has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lumpiot Hajalle will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Macon doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hajalle counters with a takedown into side control. Hajalle thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Macon is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Hajalle is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Macon has escaped the position, nice work there. Hajalle is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Macon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Macon struggling a bit here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Macon is trying to get back to half guard. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Hajalle tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Hajalle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Macon, who protects the arm well. Hajalle looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Macon is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hajalle off and has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Macon controlling the position well here. Hajalle rolled but Macon kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Hajalle tries to escape but Macon has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Hajalle defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Macon's arms. Macon is trying to stick to Hajalle's back but Hajalle is turning into Macon. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Macon's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hajalle. Hajalle stopping the sweep attempt from Macon. Hajalle is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Hajalle drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Macon dives on top into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hajalle can't keep his opponent in guard - Macon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Macon trying to control the pace. Macon trying to mount his opponent but Hajalle defends it. Hajalle looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Hajalle trying to control here.

Macon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hajalle is keeping the position for now. Macon cracks Hajalle with a solid left hand. Macon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hajalle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Macon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hajalle had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Macon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hajalle Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Macon's back instead. Macon is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lumpiot Hajalle dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hajalle with a lazy takedown attempt and Macon counters with a nice double leg into guard. Macon trying to control but Hajalle is working from the bottom. Hajalle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Macon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Macon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Macon sitting in guard here, content to control. Hajalle is looking for a triangle but Macon pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hajalle is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Macon defends well. Hajalle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Macon is aware though and is defending well. Hajalle tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hajalle is looking for a triangle but Macon pushes his legs off easily.

Hajalle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Macon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Macon postures up.

Hajalle looking to control but Macon is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Lumpiot Hajalle is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Macon defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hajalle. Hajalle has control of Macon's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Macon regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Macon is squirming around, avoiding Hajalle's attempts to control the action. Hajalle is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Macon is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
And that's the end of the fight! Drake Macon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hajalle has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
