The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Barker fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Brown is out of range.
Brown tries to clinch up but Barker circles away and keeps his distance.
Barker misses with a wild body shot.
Vince Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Barker with that takedown attempt.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Barker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Brown clinches up against the cage.
Brown lands a nice elbow.
Barker tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Barker takes an elbow to the temple.
Barker tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Barker drops down looking for an ankle pick but Brown pulls his leg out and moves away.
