Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jing Ya Xu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maksim Nikifor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nikifor's choice of entrance music: Enae Volare Mezzo. Jing Ya Xu had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikifor with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Nikifor misses with a series of wild punches.
Ya Xu on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Jing Ya Xu has been cut.
Ya Xu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nikifor tries to avoid it but Ya Xu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nikifor to the ground. Nikifor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nikifor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ya Xu was well out of range. Poor timing from Nikifor.
Nikifor lands a hook that stumbles Ya Xu back into the cage. Nikifor follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Ya Xu to the canvas! Nikifor pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Ya Xu has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Maksim Nikifor!
