Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Otorboater! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bo Scott! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Scott is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Otorboater is just riding it out for now. Scott eventually gives up the hold. Otorboater pushes Scott off looking to stand but Scott dives back in and keeps control.
Scott is pressing down on Otorboater's thigh, looking to free his foot. Otorboater is holding on for now. Otorboater is trying to stand back up but Scott is controlling him
Scott is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Otorboater has managed to free his arm - good work. Scott wants to pass the guard but Otorboater is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott seems to be working for a kimura but Otorboater defends the submission attempt. Scott is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Otorboater doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Scott.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Otorboater misses with a straight left. Scott changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Otorboater looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Scott tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Scott is trying to get an arm triangle but Otorboater is defending well. Scott looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Otorboater knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Scott tries to advance to mount but can't.

Wait, no, Otorboater rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Scott's guard! Nice work there by Otorboater! Scott wants to sweep but no luck. Scott is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Otorboater slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Scott. Scott wants to improve his position but Otorboater is controlling well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scott uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Otorboater. Bo Scott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Scott looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Otorboater! Scott goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Otorboater is on top in guard.
Scott looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Otorboater has picked Scott up and slammed him! Scott can't keep hold of the triangle and Otorboater manages to pass to side control! Scott tries to strike but it doesn't land. Scott tries to bench press Otorboater off him but Otorboater keeps the position. Scott tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Scott is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Otorboater stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Scott is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Scott. Scott tries to score a power double leg takedown but Otorboater sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Scott somewhat. Scott shoots in but Otorboater avoids the takedown attempt easily. Michael Otorboater has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bo Scott. Scott slips under a jab from Otorboater. Scott slips a jab from Otorboater. A jab from Otorboater misses. Otorboater leaves Scott with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Otorboater with a jab. Scott uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Otorboater.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Scott lands in his opponent's guard. Scott is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Otorboater is looking to stand up but Scott isn't so interested in that idea. Scott wants to pass the guard but Otorboater is keeping the position. That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott looking to pass the guard. Scott drops back looking for a leg! Otorboater is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Otorboater manages to kick Scott off! Scott jumps back into Otorboater's guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Scott staying out of range there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Scott looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Scott shoots in for a takedown but Otorboater shows good takedown defense. Otorboater throws an overhand right that lands on Scott's shoulder, as Scott tries to avoid the shot. Otorboater misses with an uppercut. Scott saw that one coming. Scott fails with a takedown attempt. Scott ducks under a wild hook from Otorboater. Otorboater throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Scott sees it coming and avoids it easily. Scott uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Otorboater. Scott bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Scott shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Otorboater as he avoids it easily. Otorboater throws a big shot that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Otorboater dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Scott ducks under a wild hook from Otorboater. A jab from Otorboater misses. Scott fails with a takedown attempt. Scott moves out of range as Otorboater strikes. Scott wants to clinch. Scott shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Otorboater pinned against the cage. Otorboater gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Scott slips under a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott dives in and grabs Otorboater's left leg, looking for a takedown. Otorboater pushes down on Scott's head and hops out. Michael Otorboater has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bo Scott. Scott takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Scott staying out of range there. Scott will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Scott slips a jab from Otorboater.

Otorboater is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Jab by Otorboater. Otorboater misses with a looping right. Scott misses with a takedown attempt - Otorboater sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Scott displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Otorboater throws out the jab. Otorboater jabbing away but nothing is landing. Otorboater throws a big shot that misses. Scott has a takedown stuffed. Michael Otorboater is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Otorboater looks to throw the jab but Scott is out of range. Scott lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Otorboater backs up against the cage.
Otorboater throws a jab but it's blocked by Scott. Otorboater misses the jab. Otorboater swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Scott walks into a left hand. Scott fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Otorboater misses the target. Otorboater works the jab nicely. Scott staying out of range there. A big left from Otorboater misses. Otorboater avoids the head kick by Scott.
Scott changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Otorboater looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Scott tries to advance to mount but Otorboater denies him. Scott wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Otorboater, who protects the arm well. Scott is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Otorboater has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott has knee on belly and moves into mount. Scott moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Otorboater has worked his arm free - good work by Otorboater!
Scott tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Scott has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
