Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, luis rivera!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn throws a front kick aimed at rivera's knee but rivera avoids it well.
rivera looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Penn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
rivera takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Penn has a takedown stuffed.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Penn.
Penn walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. rivera checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
rivera has closed the distance and engaged Penn in a clinch.
rivera cracks Penn with a nice body shot.
Penn tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Baby J Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Penn wants a takedown but no success here.
rivera breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Penn moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Baby J Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says rivera as he avoids it easily.
Penn looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Penn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts rivera as he jumps to the side.
A punch combination from Penn misses.

Penn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. rivera tries to avoid it but Penn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag rivera to the ground. rivera escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
rivera tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
luis rivera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
rivera rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Penn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Penn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says rivera as he avoids it easily.
Penn closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Penn seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. rivera is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
