Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Copeland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kolli clinches with his opponent.
Copeland is trying to break the clinch but Kolli is controlling him. Copeland landing knees to the head.
Copeland wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kolli is trying to trip Copeland. He has hold of a leg but Copeland is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kolli persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Copeland keeping moving, preventing Kolli from controlling successfully. Kolli throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kolliis looking to pass into half guard but Copeland pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Copeland is in guard. Kolli wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Kolli looking for a sweep. Not yet Kolli, not yet. Kolli is looking to stand up but Copeland isn't so interested in that idea. Copeland wants to control from the top but Kolli keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kolli looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Copeland won't allow Kolli to sweep him here. Kolli keeping moving, preventing Copeland from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Copeland lands a head kick. Kolli smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Kolli decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kolli prevents Copeland from standing back up.
Copeland wants to control but Kolli is keeping busy.
Kolli slips a nice elbow through Copeland's hands, connecting with Copeland's forehead. Kolli works his foot free and advances to mount. Copeland takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kolli looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Copeland covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
