Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davis Wayne Newton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newton tries to clinch but Robinson moves out of range.

Newton fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Newton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Newton lands with a nice combination. Robinson backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Sam Robinson has been cut.
Newton takes the fight into the clinch.
Newton wants to break free but Robinson has control.
Robinson tries for a takedown but Newton manages to get underhooks.

Newton tries for a takedown but Robinson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Robinson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Robinson escapes and gets back to his feet.
Davis Wayne Newton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Newton is trying to get back to his feet but Robinson has full control of the position and if anything, Newton has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Newton is trapped and Robinson is scoring with shots to the head and body.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Robinson has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Newton is defending well but eventually Robinson manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Newton has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
