Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ray Williams!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Miller's hands.
Williams lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Williams wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Miller avoids the body shot from Williams.
Miller closes the distance and clinches up with Williams, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes Williams against the cage but Williams circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Miller gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Williams lands with a right hand.
Miller drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Miller takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Williams ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Miller is breathing heavily.
Miller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Williams changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Miller 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Miller takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Miller is rocked!
Williams cracks Miller with a left hook right on the temple and Miller goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Williams lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Miller is OK!
