Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kikeona Kulani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huaka i Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Po has chosen Misirlou by Dick Dale & The Del Tones as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Po.
Po misses with a wild body shot.
Po throws a nice looking combination but Kulani bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kulani misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Po.
Kulani tests Po's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kulani staying out of range there.
Po swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Po throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A swing and a miss from Po.
Po tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kulani swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Po takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nice cross by Kulani.
Kulani throws a jab but it's blocked by Po.
Po throws a push kick but Kulani slaps the foot to one side.
Po looks to score with a jab to the body but Kulani is just out of range.
Kulani misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kulani fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Po manages to avoid it.
Po scores with a sloppy right hand. Kulani should have avoided that one.
Kulani falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Po counter with a right hand.

Po digs a good hook to Kulani's body.
Po throws a jab but it's blocked by Kulani.
Kulani misses with a combination
and Po counters with a left and a right that stings Kulani.
Huaka i Po is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Po lands a left and a right that send Kulani crashing to the mat, dazed. Po thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Kikeona Kulani has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Po throws a hook but Kulani blocks it.
Po misses with a body shot

and Kulani counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Po working a defensive guard but Kulani manages to pass into side control anyway.
Po trying to control but Kulani flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Kulani has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Po has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Kulani is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Po defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Po tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Po bucks Kulani off and manages to get back to his feet!

Kulani shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kulani slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kulani wants to control from the top but Po keeps moving.
Kulani won't allow Po to sweep him here.

Kulani gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Po throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Kulani shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kulani wants to stand but Po has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Po pushes Kulani off, looking to escape but Kulani dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Po is forced to tap! The fight is over!
