Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Sherdog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Donnie Wall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dirk Sherdog! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wall stalks Sherdog and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sherdog's face. Sherdog staggers backwards, shaken.
Sherdog is rocked!
It looks like Dirk Sherdog has been cut. Wall throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sherdog's waist but Sherdog gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wall off to one side. Sherdog is still on wobbly legs! Can Wall finish him? Sherdog gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wall counters by moving into the clinch. Wall wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sherdog has him pressed against the cage. Sherdog seems to have recovered his senses. Sherdog is trying to break free. Sherdog is looking to break free of the clinch but Wall has double underhooks. The is referee keeping an eye on Wall - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Wall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sherdog blocks a head kick by Wall.
Wall fails with the takedown. Wall fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sherdog is looking to clinch but Wall is avoiding it.

Wall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sherdog paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sherdog with a poor takedown and Wall counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sherdog's guard now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sherdog is looking to stand up but Wall isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sherdog avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sherdog has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Sherdog being controlled here, momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sherdog working a defensive guard here.
Wall stands up from Sherdog's guard - Wall perhaps looking for a knockout. Nice takedown defense from Sherdog. No joy for Wall on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Donnie Wall. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wall just misses with a punch to the body.
Wall moves into the clinch successfully.
Wall gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wall throwing shots but Sherdog is blocking nicely. Wall slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wall tries to pass to full mount but Sherdog defends it. Sherdog throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Sherdog tries to roll over but Wall keeps him under control. Wall gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Sherdog swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wall counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Sherdog looks gassed! Sherdog wants to get back to full guard. Wall stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sherdog to get to his feet. Wall shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sherdog's guard. Wall controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wall lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wall works a leg free and moves into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wall trying to control the pace. Sherdog is looking to escape. Sherdog actively working from the bottom here. Sherdog is trying to control but Wall passes into side control!
Sherdog is looking for a sweep. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sherdog is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wall remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donnie Wall dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dirk Sherdog's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sherdog slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Sherdog uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Sherdog shoots and misses and Wall decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sherdog's guard. Sherdog wants to sweep here but Wall controlling him for the moment. Wall content to stall in guard here. Wall working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Wall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Wall is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sherdog is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Wall showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Wall missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Donnie Wall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sherdog wants to stand up but Wall is controlling him. Sherdog is breathing heavily. Wall stopping the sweep attempt from Sherdog. Sherdog keeping moving, preventing Wall from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sherdog darts in and clinches Wall up against the cage. Sherdog is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Wall is keeping busy. Sherdog is looking to break free of the clinch but Wall has double underhooks. Wall missing with knees to the body.
Sherdog is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Sherdog tries to stall but Wall uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Wall jumps guard and drags Sherdog to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Wall manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Wall lands a big shot there that rocks Sherdog but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sherdog is trying to get back to his feet but Wall has full control of the position and if anything, Sherdog has just worked his way into a worse spot. Sherdog trying to control the hands but Wall won't let him. Wall is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Sherdog has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Sherdog really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sherdog holding both Wall 's hands and preventing any damage. Wall is trying to stick to Sherdog's back but Sherdog is turning into Wall. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Wall's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Sherdog. Wall has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wall avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sherdog postures up.

Sherdog misses with a takedown attempt and Wall counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wall. Wall scoring with punches to the head and body. Wall controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wall works a leg free and moves into half guard. Sherdog is defending against the submission attempts here by Wall.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sherdog is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wall is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Wall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sherdog can do to turn this around?
That's one minute gone in the round. Wall seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Wall looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Wall not landing any meaningful shots this time. Wall is looking to advance position but Sherdog won't allow it. Wall is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Sherdog wants to control the action here but instead Wall manages to pass to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wall controlling from mount. Sherdog bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Sherdog would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Wall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sherdog trying to control the position from guard on top but Wall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sherdog throwing strikes but missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wall lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sherdog! Sherdog wants to hold on but Wall pushes him away. Wall goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sherdog turns into him and now he's in Wall's guard.
Wall is looking to stand up but Sherdog isn't so interested in that idea. Sherdog trying to control but Wall is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wall trying to control the position.
Sherdog wants to control from the top but Wall keeps moving. Sherdog throws a strike but Wall rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sherdog wants to sweep but no luck. Sherdog keeping moving, preventing Wall from controlling successfully. Dirk Sherdog has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sherdog lands a head kick. Wall smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
And that's the end of the fight! Donnie Wall showed his dominance in that final round. Well Wall has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
