Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Runar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anatoli Valutchko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Runar comes into the arena with Amon Amarth - The Pursuit of Vikings blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valutchko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Runar pinned against the cage. Runar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Runar throws a hook to the side of Valutchko's head but Valutchko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Valutchko is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Runar.
Valutchko fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Runar on the side of the head.
The fighters circling - Valutchko throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Runar jabs at Valutchko's body.
Valutchko moves out of range as Runar strikes.
Valutchko keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Runar uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sven Runar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valutchko just misses with a punch to the body.

Runar throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Valutchko moves out of range of the strikes.
Runar ducks under a wild hook from Valutchko.
Runar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Runar wants to clinch up but Valutchko keeps it at a distance.
A bone on bone clash there as Valutchko blocks the leg kick.
Valutchko needs to keep his hands up - Runar had a free shot at his head there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Valutchko chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Runar can pounce on him.
Runar cracks Valutchko with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Valutchko falls to his knees and Runar doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sven Runar!
