Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Churko Cridell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Churko Cridell could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Daniel Masters's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Masters! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masters fails with the takedown. Cridell stuffs the takedown attempt from Masters. Masters gets slowly back to his feet. Cridell lands a lovely overhand right. Churko Cridell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cridell throws a right hand that Masters ducks under and follows up with a left that Masters also avoids with ease. Cridell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Masters scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Masters misses with the ground and pound. Masters is putting a hurting on Cridell here, landing some big shots from side control. Cridell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. You can see the frustration on Cridell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Masters sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Cridell is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cridell stops Masters from passing to mount. Masters is working Cridell over with some ground and pound from side control. Cridell manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Cridell wants to control but Masters is keeping him busy. Cridell with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Masters looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Masters blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cridell. Cridell is breathing heavily. Masters wants to improve his position but Cridell is controlling well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Masters can do anything to dispel that myth. Masters is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cridell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Masters as he avoids it easily. Masters closes the distance and clinches up with Cridell, looking for a takedown. Masters pushes Cridell against the cage but Cridell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Churko Cridell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Masters. Masters throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cridell on the side of the head. Cridell tries to clinch but Masters moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Masters ducks under a wild hook from Cridell. Cridell looks to land a combination but Masters avoids it well. No joy there for Cridell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Masters lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cridell at a distance.
Masters has a takedown stuffed. Masters looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Cridell tries for a takedown but Masters circles away easily enabling Masters to counter with a crisp jab. A clash of legs there as Cridell blocks the low kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cridell throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Masters dives in and grabs Cridell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cridell pushes down on Masters's head and hops out. Masters lands a two punch combo.
Cridell keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Masters fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Masters misses with a wild body shot. Cridell takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Cridell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Masters as he avoids it easily. Cridell lands with an overhand left. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Masters dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Cridell leaves Masters with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Cridell avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cridell takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Cridell misses with a body punch
and Masters counters with a nice double leg into guard. Masters wants to control from the top but Cridell keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Masters throwing strikes but missing. Cridell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cridell sitting and controlling from the half guard. Masters keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Masters slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Masters working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cridell.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cridell stopping the sweep attempt from Masters. Masters trying to control the position here. Masters keeping full guard, as Cridell tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Masters is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Masters with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cridell is on top in guard.
Masters lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cridell! Cridell wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Masters.
Masters trying to control but Cridell is having none of it. Cridell tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Masters looking to finish Cridell with some ground and pound. This is bad for Cridell! Masters in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
BOOM! Masters connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Cridell is looking to improve his position but Masters isn't that keen on the idea. Masters is in the full mount, landing strikes. Masters lands a heavy elbow. Masters postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cridell looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Masters showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Masters looks to land a combination but Cridell avoids it well. Churko Cridell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cridell moves into range and clinches up with Masters. Masters avoiding damage as Cridell throws knees to the body.

Masters prevents Cridell from breaking the clinch. Masters tries to score a body lock takedown but Cridell shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Masters keeps control of Cridell as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Cridell pulls guard successfully.
Masters keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cridell's head. Cridell working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Masters. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Masters throws and elbow that misses. Cridell uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Masters's guard. Nice move by Cridell! Cridell wants to control from the top but Masters keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masters pulls Cridell in close to prevent any damage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cridell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Masters works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Cridell gets to his feet. Masters looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Cridell tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Masters counters with a one-two to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Masters shoots in for a double leg but Cridell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cridell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Masters displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cridell throws out the jab. Cridell connects with a body shot. Masters closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cridell circles away. Churko Cridell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Masters. Cridell takes a swing at Masters's ribcage but misses. Cridell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cridell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Masters sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cridell somewhat. Masters fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Cridell or perhaps it was just good defense by Masters which made him look bad. Masters rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cridell moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Cridell fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Masters, pushing him back against the cage. Masters has Cridell pressed against the cage, preventing Cridell from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Masters's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cridell avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Cridell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Masters swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cridell tries to clinch but Masters moves away and Masters decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cridell's guard. Masters prevents Cridell from getting back to his feet. Masters loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Churko Cridell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Masters throws and elbow that misses. Cridell uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Masters's guard. Nice move by Cridell! Masters tries to land a sweep but no joy. Masters is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Daniel Masters is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cridell preventing the sweep.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Daniel Masters. I've got Masters winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
