Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Lujan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Maine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maine has chosen 99 Problems as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Carlos Maine will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maine misses with the combination.
Maine is looking to score with low kicks.
Lujan throws a jab but it's blocked by Maine.
Maine moves into the clinch successfully.
Maine breaks from the clinch.
Maine closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lujan did well to prevent Maine getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maine is working for a submission of some sort.
Lujan is trying is best to control the position here.
Maine is pressing down on Lujan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lujan is holding on for now.
Maine slips a nice elbow through Lujan's hands, connecting with Lujan's forehead.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Maine cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Lujan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maine on the ground.
Maine looking to control but Lujan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Maine has control of Lujan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lujan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Maine jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lujan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lujan and Maine has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Lujan is trying to control Maine's posture but Maine avoids it.
Maine gets to mount! Lujan was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Lujan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Maine connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Maine trying to control but Lujan is having none of it.
Maine moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Lujan has worked his arm free - good work by Lujan!
Lujan tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Maine working the ground and pound but Lujan is defending the strikes.
Maine tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Maine has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Lujan is looking to reverse the position.

Carlos Maine dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Lujan misses with a takedown
and Maine counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Maine.
Maine is pushing down on Lujan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lujan is fighting to maintain full guard but Maine has managed to sneak the leg through.
Maine wants to take a breather but Lujan is having none of it.
Maine throwing shots but Lujan is blocking nicely.
Lujan has hold of Maine's hands but Maine slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Maine working over Lujan with some ground and pound. Lujan looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Maine throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lujan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Maine is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Maine wants to control but Lujan is keeping him busy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Maine is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lujan is just riding it out for now. Maine eventually gives up the hold.

Lujan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lujan tries to get out of the position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Maine connects with a nice short shot to Lujan's temple.
Lujan is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Maine jumps into side control!

Maine lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Maine tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Maine slips into full mount, dodging the strikes by Lujan.
Maine prevents Lujan from getting the reversal.

Maine goes for an armbar but Lujan turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Lujan.
Maine lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lujan!
Maine jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lujan manages to avoid the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Maine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Maine gets a clinch.
Lujan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Maine gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Maine's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lujan shoots in for a takedown but Maine shows good takedown defense.
Maine scores with a hook to the body. Lujan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Maine tries to clinch there but Lujan circles away.
Lujan shoots and misses
and Maine counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Lujan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Maine is trying to control the action in half guard but Lujan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Maine maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lujan could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Maine has cracked it and Lujan is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Maine!
