Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Sotomayor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Glue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sotomayor kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Enter Sandman - Metallica. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Sotomayor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mr Glue! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sotomayor wants to clinch up but Glue keeps it at a distance. Glue showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sotomayor.
Sotomayor rushes Glue and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Glue misses with a punch to the body.

Sotomayor swings wildly with an uppercut but Glue uses good head movement to avoid it. Sotomayor jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Glue walks away with a smile on his face. Sotomayor gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Glue uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sotomayor. Glue tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sotomayor paws at him with a jab and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glue tries to clinch but fails miserably and Sotomayor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Glue is looking to clinch. Glue clinches but Sotomayor breaks the clinch and Sotomayor counters with a right hand to the body. Sotomayor thows a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glue darts in trying to clinch and Sotomayor counters with a right hand to the body. Sotomayor wants to clinch but Glue slips to the side and Glue counters by clinching up. Sotomayor blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Glue manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Sotomayor digs a right hand underneath Glue's ribcage. Glue let out a lung full of air as it connected. Sotomayor tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Glue just stands there and leans against the cage. Sotomayor lands a nice shot to the body. Glue taking a breather.

It looks like Bruno Sotomayor has been cut. Sotomayor jumps guard and drags Glue to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Sotomayor trying to keep a closed guard but Glue is proving a slippery customer.
Sotomayor will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sotomayor pulls Glue in close to his closed guard and prevents Glue from doing any damage or advancing position. Sotomayor tries to land a sweep but no joy. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Glue uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sotomayor.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sotomayor managing to block the knees to the body from Glue.

Glue will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sotomayor up against the cage. Glue scores a nice knee to the body.
