The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ONeil fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Carter misses with a straight left.
ONeil cracks Carter with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Carter looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can ONeil finish him?
It looks like John Carter has been cut.
ONeil defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carter.
Carter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? ONeil is fending him off so far but Carter persists. Nope, ONeil circles away and we're back to standing.
ONeil throws a body punch but Carter moves out of range.
ONeil misses with a hook.

ONeil digs a good hook to Carter's body.

ONeil sends Carter crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! ONeil is motioning to the referee to let Carter up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

ONeil dances in with a quick combination. Carter is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from ONeil snaps Carter's head back. Carter stumbles backwards against the cage. ONeil steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Carter's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Carter just didn't come prepared.
