The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva is looking to improve his position but Hall isn't that keen on the idea.
Hall tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Silva manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Hall is nestled in close to Silva, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hall connects with a nice short shot to Silva's temple.

Hall scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Hall takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Hall fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Fabiano Silva's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
