Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cash Money!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Anderson lands in his opponent's guard.
Money wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Money shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Anderson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Anderson goes for an armbar but Money turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Money.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Anderson wants to get back to his feet but Money is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Anderson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Money is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Anderson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Money's back instead.
Anderson is trying to stick to Money's back but Money is turning into Anderson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Anderson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Money.

Nick Anderson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Anderson is looking for a sweep.

Money thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Money scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Anderson to see if he's OK.

Money tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Money has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Money is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Anderson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Money wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Anderson, who protects the arm well.
Anderson is looking for a sweep.
Money prevents Anderson from escaping the position.

Cash Money showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
